The Vortex8 is a versatile 2×1 RGBW system with CCT ranging from 2200K to 15000K that can be used as a hard punch light to bounce or push through diffusion, or as a creamy soft light with the Creamsource Dome or DoPchoice Snapbag. Effects and colour Gels are built into the latest CreamOS architecture in addition to a range of new features wrapped into an intuitive user interface. Unpredictable weather and messy effects machines are no longer a worry for the lighting department where the Vortex is in place. The Vortex8 is IP65 water resistant and sealed for the ultimate security and efficiency. Rain, snow and dust wont hold the Vortex back.

SpaceX

The Creamsource SpaceX is an innovative approach to high powered film and TV lighting providing a full spectrum soft source. SpaceX combines the latest LED technology with sophisticated colour management, optimised form factor, ergonomics and elegant design in a light weight 18kg/40Lb package. SpaceX boasts an array of six powerful LED engines, cooled by a highly efficient and quiet fan system, and integrated lightweight power supply directly into the fixture – doing away with bulky and heavy external ballasts. SpaceX opens up a myriad of possibilities for gaffers and lighting specialists, in-studio and on location. But… It’s expensive, right? Nope! You get twice the light output for your dollar compared to the rest of the market. At $5.40 per Watt of power, SpaceX is under half the average market price.

The Vortex4 is a 1×1 RGBW All-In-One system with PSU and antennas integrated, reading 7300lux @3m on the meter. This fixture has a CCT range from 2200K to 15000K. Vortex can be used as a hard light or soft light with the Creamsource Diffuser or Dome. Effects and colour gels and our latest technology ‘FrameSync’ are built into the latest CreamOS architecture. Like it’s big brother, Vortex4 has no problem with weather, messy effects machines or extreme dust. The Vortex4 is IP65 water resistant and sealed for the ultimate security and efficiency.

Micro Bender

The Creamsource Micro is the first product in the line up this is compact, and aimed at the owner operator. It features a rugged and waterproof design, with an IP65 rating which means it can be used in all weather. The light output is the same excellent quality as the rest of the Creamsource range, with colour temperature adjustable from 2700 to 6500K and a CRI/TLCI of greater than 95. Drawing only 80W, it rivals the light output and punch typical of some 200W HMI Luminaires.

Micro Colour

The Creamsource Micro Colour features calibrated red, green, blue and white LEDs (RGBW) – so as well as producing beautiful white light in any CCT from 2,200K to 15,000K, it also has green/magenta adjustment and can produce vivid, saturated colours. The Micro Colour has a 20 degree beam angle for maximum punch, fan-free cooling for silent operation, and is water resistant so it can be used in all weather (IP65 rated). It is lightweight yet rugged, quick to rig and its compact form factor means it can squeeze into small spaces on set.

LED Bar with built-in battery for stage, events and film lighting

Astera’s Wireless PixelBar is a linear wash fixture with built-in battery pack. Each of its LEDs can be individually addressed and offers ultra-high color rendering, digital color calibration and a native 21° beam. Thanks to its smart stands, hanging bracket, connectable endcaps and the integrated airline track it can be quickly assembled in numerous ways and is suitable for a wide variety of applications such as concert/touring, corporate events, TV etc. The PixelBar is available in 1m (16 x 10W LEDs) and 50cm (8 x 10W LEDs).

MAX Range

Starting with the EB MAX 1.8 in 2017 ARRI built the foundation for a whole new range of high speed electronic ballasts – the EB MAX Range. Together with three other models − EB MAX 2.5/4, EB MAX 6/9 and EB MAX 12/18 − the MAX ballasts offer cutting-edge features with new remote control possibilities from 575 up to 18,000 W.

Combined with state-of-the-art ARRI daylight lampheads such as the True Blue Daylight or M-Series, the EB MAX Range enables optimal performance and advanced control for high image quality at any frame rate.

For ultimate ease of use, indicators on the ballast’s front panel display the lamp wattage, DMX channel, operation mode and selected lamp frequency.

High Speed Range

ARRI’s High Speed ballasts accept the challenge of modern digital high-speed photography with ease.

Running lamp frequencies up to 1,200 Hz High Speed ballasts facilitate high quality flicker free images even at frame rates of 1,000 fps and in many cases beyond even with a single discharge daylight source. Set to High Speed mode, ARRI electronic ballasts supply the lamp with a greatly raised square wave current, allowing worriless shootings for many various application such as SFX, VFX, commercials, sports, industrial applications, automotive component testing, ballistics or material testing.

ARRI High Speed electronic ballasts are available up to 800 W.

For over 25 years, discharge lighting ballasts have been an integral part of the ARRI Lighting family. During that course of time, the range has developed to comprise the reliable, robust and efficient components recognised today as the industry standard for film, theatre and events. Event

ARRI also offers ballast solutions dedicated to the Event business. The intelligent remote 19″ electronic ballast untis are made for rack mount installations with multicore power distribution. Those ballasts fit perfectly to the lampheads of the ARRI Event series. 

The ballast units (except of EB 575 EVENT SINGLE) consist of three easily exchangeable modules and can be operated manually or via DMX remote control. Each channel can be switched or dimmed to 50 % individually and the front panel indicators show the status of both – lamphead and ballast.
